Now, more and more schools are turning them into bank cards, with Visa and MasterCard logos. The latest: The University of Cincinnati.

College ID cards allow students to get around campus, access buildings, and buy meals. Buy more and more universities are turning their ID cards into bank debit cards, that can be used at stores and ATMs anywhere.
The University of Cincinnati has is now partnering with PNC Bank, giving students the option to turn their UC ID card into a debit card.
Students, though, tell us they have mixed feelings about mixing banking with their ID card.
Alec Silverblatt told me "it sounds like people are going to be spending a lot of money, getting Jimmy John's sandwiches at 3:00 in the morning!"
Caroline Shannon said "I've lost one ID card already. I have enough problems keeping track of my other ID cards, so I probably wouldn't use it as a debit card, ever."
