Previously small police departments had the ability to have
the local DMV produce id cards for them. But most of today's DMV systems
don't allow this to happen because of the change of equipment. Therefore
these local authorities are forced to look elsewhere for their

What is required from you prior to us printing police
identification cards?
Prior to printing any Police ID card, we require you to fax a
document on local letter head from the county clerk, mayor, or another authority
figure that can be contacted allowing us to produce ID cards on your
behalf. We require this of any official identification prior to
printing. Presently we are unaware of any laws that require us to do this;
however, we want to protect the integrity of the ID card industry by self
governing this responsibility. Your fax should be sent to 443-331-2500
prior to your first order. Once this document is on file and verified we
can print ID cards for your organization at any time.
Additionally, if you have a change of contact from the
initial user that setup the account we will need to verify this transition
since. We will not give out the login information of the account without
getting proper verifiable proof that the contact has changed. This is not
just the scenario with police departments, but with any customer.
