3 Ways to Repurpose Your Old Company ID Badge

Are you one of those people who hoards all of the old things you don’t need, hoping for a way to use them in the future? Well, today, you’re in luck. Here are three ways to repurpose that old company ID badge, driver’s license or gift card to make something useful!

Paper Clips

If you’re in the mood to create a unique paper clip or even a funky cool book mark, just grab a laser cutter or X-acto blade! Simply take that company ID badge and cut out any creative shape you can think of, leaving the top portion connected as to create a flap as shown in the image to the right. Once you’re creative shape is cut out, it’s ready to use!

Guitar Picks

Are you notorious for losing all of your guitar picks? Problem solved! Just grab yourself a “Pick Punch”. If you’re in the mood for shopping around you can find them in various stores, however, if you don’t feel like getting out you can do a quick google search and order one online within minutes!

Reusable Labeling Tags

If you’re looking for a unique label tag for a gift or jar of goodies, simply drill or punch a whole in the top of the card, spray it with chalk board paint and then loop a string or ribbon through the hole after it dries. Grab some chalk, label the card and hang it from any hook, jar, container or gift! If you’re wanting more than one tag, just cut the card into a few smaller pieces, add a few more hole punches and use them as mini tags.
